Avrom Systems offers a variety of services designed specifically around the needs of small business These organizations typically are too small to employ full time in-house network engineers, technicians or web designers and programmers. Avrom has spent over twenty years fulfilling that niche for our clients. We have extensive knowledge in the banking and healthcare environments, but we also handle others as well. Our clients range from attorneys and title companies to fitness centers, health clinics, non-profits and those in service industries.

Our History

In 1983 Harv Koplo, using a Kaypro computer running CP/M and a new programming language called Turbo Pascal, created a computerized inventory program for managing Volkswagon parts. This was the first project undertaken by what would become Avrom Systems. After completion of the project, in 1985, Harv was approached by a friend to computerize the billing and management of his chiropractic clinic. Avrom Systems was born after other clinics in the Springfield Illinois area requested the same services.

Over the course of the next ten years, Avrom Systems would computerize over 400 chiropractic clinics in 21 states. Because of the lack of local computer stores and support services in those days, Avrom initiated their 24 hour loaner program and developed the employee pool, expertise and procedures which enabled it to provide support for the hardware and multi-user systems in use by the 400 clinics in it's client base.

After managed care was implemented by the insurance industry, which changed the nature of the healthcare market, Avrom started to look in other directions. Finding that many small businesses in various fields had similar need for networked personal computers, and that support services such as had been developed for the healthcare market were not available in other industries, Avrom turned it's attention outside the heathcare vertical market and started to provide services in many other business environments.

Today, as technology has develped and changed, Avrom has continued to evolve to provide the diverse yet personal service needed by it's clients.
